How to connect a CITA EV Charger to a Monta OCPP backend from the AP Mode.
AP Mode function lets you directly connect to the configuration page of the charger to set up
the WIFI network SSID and Password & also set the OCPP server to which the charger
needs to connect.
WIFI & OCPP server configuration :
1. Network Connection
Please follow the steps below to complete the network connection.
Step 1: Wi-Fi Connection
(1) Switch your phone to airplane mode
(2) Make sure Wi-Fi is enabled
(3) Select the charger point Wi-Fi name. The name of the Wi-Fi SSID begins with” AC022... ”,
it is the same as the charger’s serial number.
(4) Enter the Wi-Fi Default password to connect: admin123
Step 2: Log in to settings
(5) Open a web browser (Chrome, Safari, or Microsoft Edge)
(6) Enter the Address in the address bar as: 192.168.4.1
(7) Enter a 4-digit network password (PIN Number)
Note: The network pin can be found on the cover of the charge point. Please keep the PIN sticker in a safe place to access it later.
Note: Please make sure the WIFI SSID to which you connected is correct if you can not enter the login interface via the default IP address.
(8) Select “Charger Point Setup”
(9) Wi-Fi Setup
You can select the Wi-Fi SSID name that you want to connect.
Select “Other” and enter your Wi-Fi SSID and Password manually if the Wi-Fi network is not showing in the list. (Make sure to enter the Wi-Fi SSID carefully while entering it manually)
Note: After the WIFI setup, you need to repeat step (3) to log in again.
(10) Verifying Network Connectivity
After re-login, please ensure the WIFI strength is "Good", Server communication is "Connected", and the network status is online.
If the WIFI is poor, please try to change it or use a signal range extender to enhance the network strength.
If the server communication is "Disconnected" or the network status shows offline, please try to reset the network setting and repeat Steps 2 and 3.
2. Reset the Network Setting
If you wish to reset all the settings that you have performed, follow the below steps. Please proceed with caution as the information will be removed.
Please click A to reset network settings, and click B to confirm.
After you reset the network setting, the network configuration information is the same as D shows.
3. Changing the charging mode
If you want to change the charging mode from Online mode to plug and charge or vise-versa, follow the below steps-
Please click A and enter the charger setup, and click B to change the charging mode.
